Creating Opportunities for Youth Development


Introduction

The Wayz Youth Club  offers an exceptionally wide range of activities and projects for young people 8 -17 years including: evening and weekend clubs for Juniors, Inters and Seniors as well as Chill Out and Hang Out for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities up to 25years.

We also do outreach and detached youth work in the surrounding areas; social action projects; tiered volunteering opportunities; holiday programmes, trips and residentials during school holidays, a German exchange with Bracknell’s twin city of Leverkusen; community fun days; opportunities for those participating in the National Citizen Service and much more. 

This provides a place to help support young people gain the confidence and understanding when dealing with current issues and challenges in their lives.

56 Detached sessions delivered every year to 635 young people.

375 young people who accessed the Wayz Youth Club in 2023.

3550 session attendances in 2023.

Juniors

Tuesdays 5:30-7:00pm

Ages : 8 Years Old to end of Year 6.

Inters

Tuesdays 7:30-9:00pm

Ages: School Years 7, 8 & 9

Seniors

Wednesdays 7:30 -9:00pm

Ages:14-17 years old

Chillout

Fridays 5:00-6:30pm

Ages:12-16 Years Old.

Hangout

Fridays 7:15-9:00pm

Ages 16-25 Years Old

We have a team of people here at The Wayz. From full time Youth Workers, Part Time Youth workers leading our sessions and volunteers.
