Volunteer & Community

Our volunteer programme is an ongoing, flexible opportunity for the senior young people. 

The Volunteering Programme allows young people to volunteer and deliver social action within their community through varied levels of commitment.  On a rota basis, these young people are able to volunteer for the Juniors session.  Through their commitment this can develop into volunteering opportunities for other projects both in the centre and the wider community as part of the ongoing work offered by The Wayz. 

Opportunities for young people to develop:

• Confidence
• Communication
• Leadership and Team work
• First Aid (Accredited)
• Leadership 1 & 2 (Accredited) 
• Health and Safety (Accredited)
• Food Hygiene (Accredited)

Each Volunteer will log their development through a portfolio which offers evidence of the achievements made.
