Volunteer Workshop

On Friday 10 young people attended a ‘distanced’ volunteer workshop, exploring what volunteering is, expectations and opportunities moving forward. the groups completed team challenges and activities throughout the workshop and encouraged new and existing volunteers to be creative about the opportunities moving forward through The Wayz Volunteer Programme. Social Acton projects we presented in a Dragon’s Den set up and the start of a new Social Action Project was put into plan. Watch this space…

“Its great to see young people still wanting to give up their own time and push their own development through the adapted opportunities available. For many, this is outside their normal volunteering role and a completely new challenge. But its great to see them embrace  anew way of volunteering and directing the event planning among themselves.
